The second WFDA Biennal Conference took place at the Philippines Plaza Sofitel Hotel in Manila on 19-21 September 2007, in conjunction with International Peace Day. The conference was jointly organized by the WFDA Steering Committee and hosted by the Initiatives for International Dialogue, with generous support from the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy.
Invited participants included:
• Organizing Committee members and staff
• Activists/Leaders from over 20 Asian countries
• Leaders of regional networks and programs
• Representatives of democracy assistance foundations active in the region
• Representatives of relevant international organizations
